Thursday Detour #1- School's Out Par-tay!

Whew! We had a BLAST today with 27 kids and 9 parents joining us to see Shrek: Forever after and some swimming and pigging out at the Moss' house. Unfortunately, nobody took a single picture- we will do better next week!

Can I just say, I have the coolest job ever! Is this really work? Love these kiddos!

Summer is here!

Yay for summer! School is out, Memorial Day has come and gone, and it is HOT outside! That means summer is here.

For kids, that means Discovery Boulevard- Week 2 brought us more new kids and lots of fun!

It also means that it is time to PARTY! Tomorrow is our School's out Bash! You can look for info under "thursday detours" on our website,www.bluegrassbaptistchurch.com.

Discovery Boulevard Night 1- Rocked the House!

Discovery Boulevard was off the hook last night! WOW! We had way more kids than I was expecting- silly me, placing limitations on God! Not only did we have great numbers, but we had an amazing energy- the kids were having a blast, we had awesome volunteers that were engaging and having fun with it, and the night was a whirlwind of activity. I am so amazed by what God can do when you follow a little vision. I invite you to come next week and jump on with this program. We would love to have a few more Discovery Guides- prep not required, loving kids is. We are running every Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 all summer long.
